Cambodia Visa
All types of visas for the Kingdom of Cambodia can be applied at the Consular Section of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia abroad. E-Visa can be applied online and this is highly recommended as it is trouble-free.

Each applicant must strictly complete one visa application form and submit it together with:

Visa Fee
- Tourist visa (T) fee = USD 20.00
- Business visa (E) fee = USD 25.00
- Transit visa (D) fee = USD 15.00
(Cash, bank cheque or postal money order should be made payable to the Royal Embassy of Cambodia, and payment with US Dollar is only accepted in cash)
Visa by Mail
- The Embassy does not take responsibility for the loss of documents in transit.
- The applicant is recommended to follow these below instructions:
- The applicant must use special or recorded post for the sending of the passport and application to the Embassy.
- The applicant must also provide one pre-stamped self addressed envelope of special or recorded post for the return of the passport.
Conditions of the Issues of the Business and Tourist Visas
- The visa authorises one visit only, and the maximum length of stay is one month starting from the date of arrival within the three months periods of validation.
- If the holder of the visa leaves Cambodia and wishes to return within the one month period from the date of issue of the original visa a new application must be completed and approved before re-entry.
Note
- The validity of Diplomatic (A), Official (B) and Courtesy (C) visas can be extended at the Ministry of Foreign affairs and International Cooperation, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- The validity of Business (E) visa can be extended for one month, three months, six months, twelve months (or can be a multiple visa) at the Immigration Department, National Police (No. 5 Oknha Mean Street, Phnom Penh, Cambodia).
- The validity of Tourist (T) visa can be extended for one month only at the Immigration Department, National Police (No. 5 Oknha Mean Street, Phnom Penh, Cambodia).

Laos Visa
A passport and visa are required to visa Laos. Visas are issued upon arrival in Laos to foreign tourists and business persons at most border crossings.
You will need to bring the following things to obtain a visa on arrival to Laos:
- 02 passport size photographs
- US$ 30
The Laos Visa is issued officially at the following ports of entry:
- Wattay Airport ( Vientiane)
- Friendship Bridge (Vientiane)
- And Luang Prabang Airport (Luong Prabang).
Note: Visas on Arrival are not available at the Chong Mek border crossing.
- Foreign tourists are generally admitted to Laos for 15 days with a visa on arrival or for 30 days with a visa issued at a Lao embassy.
- The Department of Immigration in Vientiane will only extend tourist visas for one day. It is sometimes possible to get an extension for an additional 15 days by submitting an application through a tour agency. Foreigners who overstay in Laos risk arrest, and they will be fined $5 for each day upon departure.
- Foreign tourists planning on entering Laos at any international checkpoint where Visas on Arrival are not available must obtain a visa in advance. Check with your nearest Lao Embassy as these are subject to change at short notice.
- Immigration offices at some of the less used border-crossing points are net well marked. Travelers should make sure that they complete immigration and customs formalities when they enter Laos. Travelers who enter Laos without completing these formalities may be subject to fine, detention, imprisonment, and/or deportation.
Visa Notes
- A Laos TOURIST visa is usually issued for a SINGLE entry within three months from the date of issue for a period of stay not to exceed 30 days. The visa may be extended in Laos for a further 15 days.
- A Laos BUSINESS visa is usually issued for a SINGLE entry within three months from the date of issue for a period of stay not to exceed 30 days. The visa may be extended in Laos for a further 30 days.
- A multi-entry business visa can only be issued after a business joint- venture has been established. Higher consular fees apply. Passport must have at least six months validity remaining, and one blank visa page in order for the visa to be issued. TDS can assist with expediting U.S. Passports whether new issue, renewal, and adding visa pages.
No visa is required for U.S.A. citizens visiting Malaysia for social, business or academic purposes (except for employment).
No visa is required for a stay of less than one month for nationals of all ASEAN countries except Myanmar. For a stay exceeding one month a visa will be required, except for nationals Brunei and Singapore. For national of Israel, visas are required and permission must be granted from Ministry of Internal Security. For national of Yugoslavia (Serbia, Montenegro), visas are required and permission must be granted from Ministry Of Home Affairs. Nationals of countries other than those stated above (with the exception of Israel) are allowed to enter Malaysia without a visa for a visit not exceeding one month. |

Malaysia Visa
Requirements to obtain VISA to enter Malaysia
U.S. Passport or passport of any other nationality, must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into the country for which VISA has been applied for. If validity is less than 6 months ETS will renew your passport (Fee's apply).
U.S. citizens do not need a visa to enter Malaysia for tourism or business.
Visa requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
Malaysia Tourist Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- One application form, completely filled out and signed (ORIGINAL FORM IS NEEDED)
- 2 passport size photographs
- A copy of your flight ticket or flight itinerary from your travel agency pertaining to your trip to Malaysia and a copy of your hotel reservation/place to stay
- A copy of your resident alien card or visa status in the USA
- An employment verification letter from your current company is required
- A copy of your current passport stating your personal information and the passport's expiration date
- Proof of sufficient funds during the intended stay
Malaysia Business Visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- One application form, completely filled out and signed (ORIGINAL FORM IS NEEDED)
- 2 passport size photographs
- A copy of your flight ticket or flight itinerary from your travel agency pertaining to your trip to Malaysia and a copy of your hotel reservation/place to stay
- A copy of your resident alien card or visa status in the USA
- A copy of your current passport stating your personal information and the passport's expiration date
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Malaysia
- A letter from your company in the US verifying your employment and stating the duration and purpose of your visit to Malaysia
- Proof of sufficient funds during the intended stay

Myanmar Visa
Your signed passport must be valid and with sufficient blank pages for any visa stamps. The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of entry for the visa you are applying for. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one from us prior to obtaining the visa.
Completed Visa Application
- Download , print, fully complete, and sign two copy (copies) of the Myanmar application form.
- Passport-Style Photographs
You must provide three identical passport photographs that meet Passport Photograph Regulations.
Passport-Style Photograph Regulations: To process your application, you are required to provide identical passport-style photographs. Government Agencies have specific regulations regarding the passport photographs. Passports and Visas.com recommends the following retailers for passport photographs :
- Locate your nearest Mail Boxes, Etc.
- Locate your nearest Kinko's
- OR consult your local Yellow Pages under "Photographers - Passport"
- Vending Machine photos are NOT acceptable.
The following is the list of regulations regarding passport-style photographs :
- Photographs must be 2x2 inches in size, identical, taken within the past 6 months.
- The image size from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head should be between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches.
- The photographs may be in color or black and white.
- They must be full face, front view with a plain white or off-white background.
- Photographs should be taken in normal street attire, without a hat or headgear that obscures the hair or hairline.
- Uniforms should not be worn in photographs with the exception of religious attire which is worn daily.
- If prescription glasses, a hearing device, wig or similar articles are normally and consistently worn, they should be worn when the picture is taken.
- Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable unless required for medical reasons. A medical certificate may be required to support the wearing of such glasses in the photographs.
Travel Documentation
- You must provide a copy of ONE of the following items :
- Your foreign travel plane ticket.
- Your printed travel itinerary.

Singapore Visa
Visa and Entry Requirements for Foreigners
1. Visitors In Transit.
Some visitors may transit in Singapore without a visa provided:-
- they hold a valid passport with at least six months validity;
- have firm booking and entry facilities to their next destination, and;
continue their journey within the permitted transit hours of arrival to any destination outside Singapore.
2. Entry Requirements For Foreigners
All visitors to Singapore must meet the following entry requirements:
- Valid travel document (minimum validity = 6 months);
- Onward / return ticket;
- Entry facilities to next destination;
- Sufficient funds to stay in Singapore and
- Visa for Singapore (if applicable)
In addition, visitors holding Hong Kong Document of Identity, Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Travel Permit, Palestinian Authority Passport, Refugee Travel Document issued by the Middle-East countries and Temporary Passport issued by United Arab Emirates will also require a visa to enter Singapore.
Nationals of the Commonwealth Independent States may be granted entry into Singapore without visas if they are on transit to or from a third country. However, they are required to fulfil the following conditions:-
They are in transit to or from a third country; They hold a valid passport, a confirmed onward air-ticket, entry facilities (including visa) to the third country and have sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore; They continue their journey to the third country within the 96-hour visa free period granted; and They satisfy Singapore's entry requirements. As in all arrivals, the grant of the social visit passes to travellers will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority officers at the Singapore Checkpoints. |

Thailand Visa
General Requirement
The following must be submitted:
- Current Passport or Travel Document with validity not less than 6 months.
- One completed and signed application form.
- Two passport-size photographs (2"x2") (Photostat or Photocopy do not accepted). Photographs must have a light color background with a full- face view of the person without wearing a hat or dark glasses. Photos must be taken within 6 months.
- If submitting application in person, processing fees are payable only in cash or money order. If application is submitted by mail, please pay by money order only.
Processing fees:
- Non-immigrant visa.....US $60.00 per entry and US $150 per multiple entries. (require invitation letter from Thailand) Purpose of visit: BUSINESS, CONFERENCE, RESEARCH, TEACHING, EDUCATION, MASS MEDIA, MISSIONARY, FAMILY REUNION, MEDICAL TREATMENT (please, see visa types & purpose visit), RETIREMENT (please, see retirements for person 50 years or over)
(Maximum stay 90 days, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
- Tourist visa.................. US $30.00 per entry for pleasure purpose only. (require copy airline ticket or itenery)
(Maximum stay 60 day, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
- Transit visa................... US $25.00 per entry. Purpose of visit: TRANSIT (require copy airline ticket or itenery), SPORTS or CREW (require business letter and invitation from Thailand)
(Maximum stay 30 days, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
When submitting application by mail, a self-addressed envelope size 6"x9" or large enough to fit all passports with sufficient postage stamps is required. Metered stamps will not be accepted. Please also include a 41-cent stamp for the cost of previously mailed application form to applicant. Applicant may have their visa mailed by choosing one of the following options:
- $16.25 in postage for a next-day express mail (and additional 41-cent stamp for the cost of previously mailed form). Please include self address mailing label if possible.
- $3.40 in postage, depending on weight, for certified mail (and an additional 17-cent stamp)
- Federal Express, UPS or DHL with account number (do not accept credit card)
Important notice:
- Applications are usually processed within 48 hours if submitted in person. Applying by mail will take approximately 10 business days plus mailing time.
- Applicant who is a holder of a Travel Document issued by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service, US Department of Homeland Security or those who hold passport from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, the Middle East countries and the Socialist countries need to submit additional requirements. (please, see list of countries for additional requirements)
- Visa must be activated or used within three months from the date of issuance.
- Nationals of certain countries are required to apply for a visa only at the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their home / residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy. Therefore, travellers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where they may apply for a visa to Thailand before departure. Information on location and contact number of Thai Embassies and Consulates-General is available at http://www.mfa.go.th/web/10.php
- Please note that the period of visa validity is different from the period of stay. The visa validity is a period during which a visa can be used to enter Thailand. Generally, the validity of a visa is 3 months, but in some cases, we also issue visas valid for 6 months or 1 year. The validity of a visa is granted by the Embassy or Consulate-General and shown in the visa. The period of stay depends on the type of visa and is granted by an immigration officer upon arrival at the port of entry. For example, the period of stay for a transit visa does not exceed 30 days, for a tourist visa does not exceed 60 days and for a non-immigrant visa does not exceed 90 days for the arrival date. Travellers who wish to stay longer than such period may apply for extension of stay at Offices of the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok, located in Soi Suan Plu, South Sathorn Road, Bangkok 10120, Tel. 02-2873101-10 or at an Immigration office in the provinces. Additional Requirement
Holders of Travel Document issued by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Service, US Department of Homeland Security or nation passport from Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, the Middle East countries, and the Socialist countries are required to submit the followings:
- Current passport or Travel Document with validity not less than 6 months.

- Passport-size photographs. (Phographs must have a light color background with a full-face view without wearing a hat or dark glasses and taken within 6 months.)
- 3 photographs for Travel Document holder
- 5 photographs for the holder passport of Cambodia and Vietnam
- If submitting applications in person, fees are payable in cash or money order. If submitting application by mail, fees are payable in money order to the Royal Thai Embassy only.
- Employment verification or a guarantor's letter from a U.S. resident
- Proof of confirmed round-trip ticket and itenary
- Proof of permanent resident alien card
- Proof of Financial, such as a bank statement showing personal savings or checkings account
- A personal bio-data of applicant(s) since leaving country of birth or refugee camp. (For the person who is former nationality from Lao, Vietnam, Cambodia only)
- Confirmed reservation a place or hotel to stay in Thailand. (name and address)

Visa Types and Purpose of Visit
Non-Immigrant Visa

Purpose of visit: BUSINESS and CONFERENCE (requiring the business letter with letter-head explains purpose of visit, also included name of company, organization or mission and address in Thailand), RESEARCH, MASS MEDIA or MISSIONARY (requiring the letter with letter-head from company, agency or organization sending you on your mission, and also the letter from your counterpart in Thailand and prove of verification of the institution). EDUCATION (requiring the letter with the letter-head from educational institution in Thailand). TEACHING (requiring the letter with the letter-head from educational institution in Thailand, a school Establishment Permit and verification stating that the applicant has no criminal record from the country of his/her nationality or residence) . FAMILY REUNION (requiring marriage or birth certificates and prove of Thai citizen). SETTLEMENT AFTER RETIREMENT (requiring proof of retirement and financial support). MEDICAL TREATMENT (requiring letter from licensed doctor). (Maximum stay 90 days, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
Tourist Visa Purpose of visit: for pleasure purpose only (requiring copy of airtime ticket or itenery).
(Maximum stay 60 day, extension of stay may be applied in Thailand.)
Transit Visa Purpose of visit: TRANSIT (requiring proof of confirmed onward ticket to a Third country). SPORTS or CREW (requiring letter from organization concerned and invitation letter from Thailand).

Vietnam Visa
How to apply for a visa to Vietnam?
1. A VISA to Vietnam can be applied for by mail or in person at the Embassy of Vietnam as early as six months prior to the date of travel. The applicant must submit:
- Original PASSPORT.
- One completed and signed visa application form (PDF Form) with 01 passport-size photo glued or stapled.
- VISA fee in the form of MONEY ORDER, or CASHIER'S CHECK, or CERTIFIED CHECK payable to " THE EMBASSY OF VIETNAM." Applicants applying together may submit the fee in one money order.
- A prepaid return envelope, if the applicant requests the visa be returned by mail. Please use US Express Mail (UPS and DHL are not accepted for the return envelope). Applicants applying together may provide one envelope for visas to be returned to the same address.
2. Diplomatic and Official Visas:
- Diplomatic and official visas will be granted GRATIS unless otherwise agreed upon between Vietnam and the applicant's country.
- In addition to the documents specified in (1), the applicant must submit a note verbal or an official letter from the relevant agencies of the US Government, Embassies or Consulates accredited to the United States, and international organizations.
3. Business Visas:
- In addition to the documents specified in (1), the applicant must provide a visa pre-approval(1) obtained through his/her sponsor(2) in Vietnam. The Embassy will issue visas only upon approval issued by the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security in Vietnam.
- If the applicant does not have a host/sponsor in Vietnam, s/he may contact the Embassy for assistance.
4. Processing Time:
- 5 - 7 business days are required to process visa applications.
- Expedited processing requires 2 - 3 business days after the Embassy has received the application (additional fee required).
- Please keep the tracking numbers of the envelopes to and from the Embassy. When the above deadlines have passed, use the tracking number to check with the mailing service first. Please do not make telephone inquires on the status of your application (make sure that you keep your passport number for this request) until after the 3rd business day for an expedited case and the 7th working day for a regular case.
- The Embassy will be closed on Vietnamese and US holidays 2007, 2008. Please take account of the observed holidays in planning for your visa application and travel.

1. An approval is a visa clearance obtained for an applicant by his/her partner, host, representative, relative, friend or a travel agency in Vietnam ahead of time at the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security (258 Nguyen Trai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City or 40a Hang Bai, Hanoi). The Embassy of Vietnam issues the visa to the applicant based on that approval.
